Hey everyone!
This is what's new with me and a little background to our new boutique. It it starts with a journey – the kind that doesn't involve a plane ticket!
I'm just shy of my two year anniversary from my Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy. Since that day in June, I've been on an incredible weight loss journey, and I can't thank that bariatric procedure enough. I've done the hard work, but that bariatric procedure has been an instrumental tool in helping me to succeed where I had previously failed, time and time again. I'm 170 pounds lighter and I feel fantastic!
But here's the unexpected perk: my closet is having a PARTY!
For years, my clothes were more like disguises than expressions of myself. Now, stepping into a store isn't a battle or something to feel shame about, it's an exploration and a grand adventure! Trying on different styles, colors, and patterns is LITERALLY pure joy. It's like getting to know a whole new me, and guess what? She loves BRIGHT, BOLD PATTERNS! (Who knew?)
I sometimes find myself focusing on the number that's on the scale, but I have realized something. This journey isn't just about that number. Nor is it just about being healthy and fit, although those are all very important. For me, this journey has also been about rediscovering the fun in fashion and embracing the body I'm in!
I'm here for rocking cute outfits, feeling confident, and proving that sometimes, the biggest transformation happens in your closet.
With that discovery, it just made sense to start Petals and Poise Boutique by Bari.
I love finding those pieces that are fun and make me feel SO GOOD and adding them to the shop so that others can experience that fashion high as well!
I am LIVING for the outfit's that become conversation topics and head-turners! I am done with boring, I want to stand out. Really, who wants to be ordinary when you can be extraordinary!?

No more blending in and even worse, hiding. That's where my journey has led me so far. Now I am making it my mission to help let personalities shine and boosting confidence with fun, beautiful and unique clothing.
It's been a trip but I'm loving it. Sure, not everyone is on board for my catchy and bold choices but I try to be good at adding some variety in for those that want to feel good without drawing all the attention, because ultimately, that's what matters....liking and loving what you're wearing. When you do, you just FEEL GOOD! It doesn't have to be bold. It just needs to make your feel pretty and confident, like the incredible woman you are!
That's what I want to do and be known for.... making people feel good, beautiful and confident.
